FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Who will be our photographers?
A: Andrew and Helen Daykin will both photograph your wedding. We only photograph one wedding per day.
Q: What equipment do you use?
A: We use Canon professional equipment and also have a range of backup equipment.
Q: How many photographs will you take?
A: We normally take a large number of photographs on the day and present to you 200 to 300 photographs that are placed on our website with password protection.
Q: How long will you stay at our wedding day ?
A: We normally start by photographing the Bride getting ready and then the Groom awaiting his Bride. Coverage starts at 6 hours and can be added to as required to cover the whole day.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: Our Queensberry Album packages include 6 hours coverage and a Queensberry 12 x 12 Album. Request our full pricelist for other options.
Q: Do you charge extra for travel and hotel accommodation?
A: Travel further than a 75-mile radius of our base will incur extra cost.There will be an at cost charge for hotel accommodation when required.
Q: If our wedding is not on a Saturday is there a reduced charge?
A: We are happy to negotiate a special price if your wedding is not on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Q: Can we provide you with a list of photographs we require taking?
A: A list of formal photographs can be prepared during our planning session and we are happy for the bride and groom to have this opportunity.
Q: How long will it take to do the formal photographs?
A: A list of formal photographs can be agreed in advance and we normally allow 5 min per group.
Q: How will we get to see our photographs?
A: We will place the images on our website for family and friends to view and order prints online.
Q: When will our images be on the website?
A: Images are placed on the website within three weeks of your wedding. The galleries will be password protected and you will have the opportunity to be the first to view them.
Q: Is it possible to work on the images to remove blemishes?
A: We use PhotoShop to process our images and will do small corrections as part of our normal work. More complicated corrections will incur additional cost.
Q: Can family and friends order prints?
A: Family and friends can place orders for prints from our website paying by credit card.
Q: When will we be required to pay for your services?
A: We require a £350.00 retainer at the time of booking, and the final payment is required six weeks before the wedding date.
Q: How do we secure your services for our wedding date?
A: A signed booking form and retainer are required to secure the booking.
